Attracts Introduced for 2023 Davis Cup World Teams I and II Play-offs


The Worldwide Tennis Federation (ITF) has introduced the attracts for the 2023 Davis Cup by Rakuten World Group I and World Group II Play-offs.

The attracts, which passed off on the ITF places of work this afternoon, will see 48 nations competing in 24 ties, to be performed in cities around the globe on both 3-4 or 4-5 February 2023. The selection of dates are decided by the host nation.

Successful nations from the World Group I Play-offs will compete in World Group I ties in September 2023, alongside the 12 shedding nations from the 2023 Qualifiers – which will even happen in February. The draw for the Qualifiers will likely be made on the Davis Cup Ultimate 8 knockout stage in Malaga in November.

Dropping nations from the World Group I Play-offs and successful nations from the World Group II Play-offs will compete in World Group II ties in September 2023. Dropping nations from World Group II Play-offs will compete in Regional Group III occasions later in 2023.
